Heliotrope Harmonic Pixelator.
What do you call an effect that isn’t quite a Bit Crusher, or an Octave, or a Harmonizer, or a Ring Modulator, or a Lo-Fi dirt box/fuzz – but a bit of a blend of each?
Yeah – we don’t know either, so we came up with “Harmonic Pixelator”...
Ottava Magus II.
Catalinbread presents the evolution of the Ottava Magus, with the Ottava Magus II. Upgraded from the former bantam series, the new Ottava Magus II has all the benefits of the previous version, but the circuit has been revamped, retuned, and has an added Saturation control that offers the ability of subtle ‘flutey’ high octave tones or crazier full-on ring mod sounds, the Intensity control covers a wide range from clean to barking. The input sensitivity is much more forgiving than typical octaves, so you can actually get a lot of different flavors just by adjusting the controls on your guitar. Back off your guitar volume for more subtle parts and still have the octave clear and present with the natural decays intact. Play on your bridge pickup down low on the neck for piano-like overtones on your bass strings – try that with a conventional octave pedal!
There’s tons of output on tap to pummel your preamp or another dirt box into sonic submission as well.
Oh – and it has purple knobs. You like purple, right?
SEMAPHORE TREMOLO.
Semaphore Tremolo Delivers classic tremolo sounds from smooth buttery coaxing of "harmonic vibrato" to hard chop "repeat percussion". But it doesn't leave you without the more nontraditional pulses, swells, blips, & surf amplitude modulation. The Semaphore doesn't color your tone, what you put into it comes out. Absolutely, no volume drop and none of the sterile digital fake-ness you get from the "competition"...

When we originally set out on our quest to make the best Bass overdrive ever, we never imagined that it could also sound so amazing with guitar – but then we got to thinking about some of the classic late ‘60s/early ‘70s ‘Ya-Yas’ era tones and thought we should take a stab at them. And heck while we’re at it, it would be really cool if it worked for the more modern drop tuned heavy stuff too. Made sense since those tones were due in large part to guitars being played through amps designed for bass, right? Please allow 2 weeks build time!
SUPER CHARGED OVERDRIVE.
SuperCharged OD The audio equivalent of a forced induction high displacement big block make up the heart of the SCOD's "distortion powerplant". It is designed like a tube amp, fine tuned cascaded gain stages cause the distortion, not diodes. We knew we had a winner when it made our 5W 6V6 amp push air like a full stack. This pedal rocks harder than a Heart 8-track in a Hemi Cuda outside of a high school in 1978! ...
SUPER CHILI PICOSO.
As a clean boost the tone that goes in is exactly the tone that comes out, only LOUDER. Provides upward of 35dB of boost. The high input impedance makes the SCP the perfect buffer to keep your signal strong through long cable runs and large pedal boards. The fat boost adds more girth and growl to your sound. The SCP gives you MORE of what you have already got!
Teaser Stallion 2.0.
Catalinbread presents the new & improved Teaser Stallion. This old favorite has been shrunk down to a standard sized enclosure, using a toggle switch for the oscillation circuit instead of a second foot switch. Though the size may have shrunk, the circuit has been amped up, making this lust pent beast even more aggressive and chaotic.
The distortion ranges from mellow to blistering. The feedback loop thickens your tone, adds a unique texture to your sound, and even functions as a controllable synth. This pedal turns heads, offends traditionalists (and cats), but most importantly open doors to truely unique sounds and creative possibility.
Usual Suspects: 6/6 Custom Shop DLS.
The Usual Suspects is an expanded edition of the Dirty Little Secret. Considering how well the DLS stacks with treble boosters and fuzzes, The Usual Suspects adds a triple boost to the DLS circuit. The three include a treble boost, a mid-honk boost, and a 'faux' fuzz. There are six pedals in the line, depicting colorful and imaginative characters in a line-up.
